Curious if anyone has had any success in getting ahold of anyone regarding brake pads for podium finishes or wins. I have emailed Hawk multiple times and the WRL email as well with no answer. Just curious. We have now had three podiums and would love to save some cash. Thanks

Ian Mayberry is the WRL Sponsorship guy. He's been working with Hawk. But as far as I know, no one has received anything from Hawk. Lemonata now has 5 1st place finishes, starting with two finishes in April. I do know Maxxis is delivering on their contingencies.

Thanks for updating. We would love to cash in on the contingency when it comes available. Pretty sure we'll see you guys at Hallett in a month.

We are in the same boat, we should have 10 sets of pads coming from winning both days at RA but we have not received any thing. I have emailed Joey multiple times with no luck. What is it going to take to actually get the contingency pads?

Have you tried Snapchat or Instagram? Maybe they hang out there. Nobody is actually on the forum.

Apparently no one uses email anymore either.

I've never once used snapchat or instagram or sent a tweet. I can't even figure out how to see the threads and posts people talk about being all over the facespace. I wish people would use forums so posts are organized and easy to find and *searchable*.

Now get off my lawn.

I still check the forum everyday, but the only thing I can do is echo the "everyone else is waiting" and "I wish people used forums" comments. FB is awful for information....

Just ordered our spares for Hallett and COTA. Sure would have been nice to use Hawk Contingency money instead of taking it out of the team budget!

Hawk contacted us last week, without a lengthy discussion of why, we are in the process of Rre-submitting the podium info. I share, and apologize for your frustration and appreciate your patience.

Still nothing from Hawk. 10 sets of pads would be nice for the upcoming season. But I am not hold my breath for these. It's only $1,500 in pads.

Man that’s terrible. Hard to believe a company as well established as Hawk would treat customers so poorly.

Update: Ian and I have both been trying to get responses from Hawk wth no success. I understand that they are busy and support pro events and venues but not getting awards to racers as agreed is not acceptable to me, so we are looking at a new brake sponsor for 2018. Two have expressed interest and both have submitted proposals.

We will continue to try to get Hawk to send awards for 2018. I apologize that this has been such a pain in the ass.

I would love to see a contingency from Raybestos, they have just about every compound and can even cut custom pad shapes if you need. Very good pricing to boot!

Did WRL ever get any more info from Hawk about whether they are going to honor their sponsorship/contingency obligations?

I just got a follow up from Hawk today on "ONE" of our racers. If you are owed Hawk contingency for 2017, contact me and I will do all I can to sort it out.

I may have sent Hawk and its parent company a few (more like 6 over the winter) emails asking where my pads where.

Hopefully this time they will follow through, they sure would be helpful for RA

I got the Hawk e-mail today...But I can't read the small font on the contingency reward certificate. Can anyone read Edwin's e-mail address to claim the reward?
