The yellow corvette side of the 24@5280

I have a TON of video. Basically we had a gopro running the entire time so I should have some good footage when I get around to digging through gigs and gigs of clips.

Thanks to everyone for all the help and pretty much everyone was courteous (save a few, but that is always the case).

Looking forward to next time, THANK YOU JOEY AND WRL CREW AND HPR FOLKS!!!!!

That is a great write up of a great effort. Too bad about the journos bailing on you, but it is their loss.

and thanks for the tape!

Awesome story!!! What an impressive effort to keep going. The assistance Costas got from the Braunschweig and Vess teams goes to show what a great racing community WRL (and endurance racing in general) has!
I'd love to see more of these type of stories here on the forum. But, even more so, I am really looking forward to running with you guys in a few weeks at Mid Ohio. Our season has not gone the way we hoped - in fact, it has not even started yet, as we have withdrawn from 2 races now, finding ourselves behind on car prep due to some family issues going on, and being short on teammates. :(
We're determined to make this race at Mid Ohio - mostly to show our support for WRL - I'd hate for WRL to give up on our region, so we will be there, even if we have to run the race alone, as Costas did. I'm confident that if we don't fill up on team and crew, there will be racers/friends out there that will be willing to help. Thanks in advance - and Costas- Congratulations on persevering, and thanks for your well written story!

Thank you so much guys!!

Cervelli: HUGE CONGRATS ON YOUR 1-2 FINISH IN GP1!!!!

I wish more teams would do at least a simple story on their race because so many cool stories happen and they don't get told. Just at the 24 there were some pretty heroic fixes, some great stories of the racing community, etc.

Please share my link wherever and let's try and get more interest in WRL!!!
