Never short handed in WRL

Postby xk150fhc » Mon Oct 30, 2017 9:31 am

We raced Austin No Power #98 at Hallett earlier this month. Bill, Eric and me. Oppps, nobody to run the fire extinguisher during pit stops! Wrong, we begged a loaner pit stop crew member from teams on both sides of us, and across the pit lane. NOBODY said: No, or we're to busy. It was always: Yes. When are you coming in? Late in the race Sunday we were able to return the favor to the team pitted to our immediate north. A big thank you to everybody that manned the fire extinguisher for us during pit stops. Makes it tough to say anything about the WRL and the folks that race WRL. Both are great! A big thank you to the WRL crew and Connie and the Hallett crew. A great event which was well organized and well executed.

Thanks again, Harry, Bill & Eric

That rocks. Glad you guys had a great time and everyone was so helpful. I've found over the years people at the race track are usually pretty willing to lend a hand. It comes from all of us being in a similar situation at one time or another :D
