WRL heads to back to the historic Watkins Glen in 2026 - now in August! Racing has been taking place in Watkins Glen since the 1940s on a public street circuit with the first dedicated GP circuit built in 1956. Watkins Glen has played host to Formula 1, Can-Am, Trans-Am, IROC, Indycar, NASCAR, IMSA and more!

Minor Drivers under the age of 18 years old will need to acquire an Emancipation Letter from the State of New York to participate in this event.

GENERAL EVENT INFORMATION:

  • Championships — National, East

  • Track information — 3.54 miles , 12 turns , Clockwise

  • Event Type — Test + 8h + 7h

  • Broadcast — Driver’s Eye Live, Flag to Flag (Sat / Sun)

  • Disclosures due — Aug 21, 2026

REGISTRATION:

  • Registration opens — Jun 24, 2026 @ 1:00 PM ET

    • Entry fees:

      • GTO - $4200

      • GTU - $3800

      • GP1 - $3600

      • GP2 - $3450

    • Additional 4 hours of HPDE: $600

    • Garages: $500 / Available on MSR / first come first served

    • Camping: $100

    • RV/Power - $200 for RV area overnight camping pass. Power handled by WGI directly (see guard shack)

  • Fri Aug 28 — Qualification - 4 hours of Testing included (4 additional hours available)

  • Sat Aug 29 — Race 1: 8 hour endurance race (9am - 5pm)

  • Sun Aug 30 — Race 2: 7 hour endurance race (8am - 3pm)
